Description

Our laboratories include clean and conventional chemistry and sample preparation labs, a state-of-the-art multi-collector thermal ionization mass spectrometer (TIMS), and a sector-field inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (SF-ICPMS). Additional analytical facilities in the institute we use include gas source mass spectrometry, electron microprobe, scanning electron microscopy and X-Ray diffraction. The Geochemistry Research Facilities are a laboratory complex and consist of several sub-modules. For more details, please see the individual websites.
The Geochemistry Group is involved in the CRC-TRR 170 "Late Accretion onto Terrestrial Planets". The TRR170-DB stores planetary data produced in the TRR 170 and other institutions in planetary sciences. More here. Data include laboratory and other instrumental data on planetary samples, remote sensing data, geological maps and model simulations.
