Description
The Laboratory for Physical Geography of the Institute for Geographical Sciences investigates water and solid samples (e.g. suspended loads, soils, sediments, solid rocks etc.). Analysis are conducted on the following aspects: sample preparation for sedimentological and palynological investigations, physical parameters, chemical parameters, determination of the mineralogical composition and the determination and quantification of the element concentration. The Laboratory for Physical Geography is a laboratory complex and consists of several sub-modules. For more details please, see the individual websites.
